Black Samurai Halfmoon Plakat (Betta Splendens)
The Black Samurai betta is the result of selective breeding from Black Dragon betta.
They were bred in Thailand at Taphong Betta Farm in Rayong Province by the creator Kun Wat Wiwatthipnak, a professional betta breeder with over 15 years experience
Over generations, desirable mutations were selected for, in order to create distinct features.
Characteristics which distinguish them from Black Dragons include their unique scale coatings in copper, silver, blue and green that do not fully cover the betta, giving it the appearance of a Samurai Warrior's armour.
There are also Red Samurai variants available now.
