Black Mamba Halfmoon Plakat (Betta Splendens)

Selectively bred in Thailand and is part of a collection of Black Betta fish.

Produced as a result of decades of selective breeding, these fish have deep black uniform colouration with shiny contrasting scales.

What a stunning addition this fish is to the panoply of Betta Splendens varieties.

Combining traits of selectively bred black-lined betta, copper and mustard gas forms with Dragon bettas has given rise to the distinct patterns and colours of the Black Mamba.
