Bristlenose Plec LDA72 (Ancistrus sp.) 5-6 cm

These plecs are native to South America and are classed as "peaceful".

Known for their algae-eating capabilities and distinct bristles which develop in males as they age, hence the name.

Found primarily in tropical rivers and streams of the Amazon basin in well-oxygenated waters, these fish benefit from driftwood in the aquarium and plenty of hiding places with filtered surface light to mimic their natural environment
